To Yeti or Not to Yeti?

I am overwhelmed with all of the Likes! Thank you for your interest and support! I hope that you find something helpful in my posts that make your life Positively Styling!

Today’s post is about when you order something online that you are really excited for and it shows up and it does not live up to expectations. Unfortunately this is a risk we take when we order online. It happens to the best of us including professional stylists and seasoned online shoppers. Stylists are the first ones to tell you that what you see online has usually been manipulated (by us!) in some way so items will tend to differ when they arrive at your doorstep.

Today I received a fleece jacket that I have been thinking about for awhile. This is something I do. I rarely impulse shop. I make a list and really think about whether or not I am going to wear/use something. If I can’t stop thinking about something (obsessed) I’ll check back in on it.

That’s what happened with this jacket. It just looked sooo cozy and I was obsessing about it. I finally purchased it when it went on sale. It arrived and it was fluffy-very fluffy! “Do I look like a Yeti?” came immediately to mind. You know what they say… if you have to ask… My son and the neighborhood kids let me know, yes, yes I do. I also am 5’4”. As you can see from these side by side comparisons the Yeti as we are now calling it looks better on a longer frame.

The moral of the story: You can love something but if it’s not the best fit or if there’s just something not quite right like maybe you, too, look like a Yeti—even if it’s on sale—then it’s time to return.

Life is too short to not be Positively Styling!
